Hello all, I noticed the following in Prime95. I changed some of my user settings like hours computer is on and days of vacation. Then I contacted the server which updated the information and send me back additional exponents. But then it started processing the new exponents totally skipping the work it was doing before the contact. Also in the status list only the old jobs were listed and not the new ones. This was also true on the server. I fixed the problem by quitting GIMPS which dereserved the numbers I had already processed ( what a shame ). Then i started GIMPS again with the changed settings. Anybody has had the same experience? Is this a bug or my error? Please comment.
