Most of the responses I got indicated little to no change depending on
what's running. Having watched mprime for a while now, I give that
time-tested piece of research: my personal experience. As I had originally
said, I was gettin 0.207 s under Prime95. With mprime and no X, I get
0.208 s. With X running, I get 0.208 s. So the general response was
indeed correct - at least for me.
I also wanted to thank everyone who responded. I'm (obviously) running
fine now.
