Just got done doing a quickie test of a dual processor Xeon machine...

System specs are:

Dual Xeon 400MHz (Hitachi Visionbase 8400 series)
1024MB RAM
40GB Disk

NT Server 4.0 SP3

Prime95 17.1 (affinity set to run only on the 2nd CPU)

Only other running software is McAfee Netshield 4.x

With an exponent of 6715699, it's iterations are averaging 0.164

George doesn't have timings for exponents in this range on the P90 base
figures at http://www2.tripnet.se/~nlg/mersenne/benchmk.htm but it's as fast
as a P90 would be doing exponents from 1-1345...not bad.

I see on the same benchmark page, there's a PII-400 running Win95 doing
0.184 in the same range.

On an exponent (semi-randomly chosen) of 3687169, it's doing 0.075 per
iteration. Compare that to the PII-400 results on the chart of 0.106 and
0.113. Again, not bad.
