Sorry, system data bus from Athlon to core logic is SDATA[63:0].  It's the
signal levels and most of the overall logical design that the K7 takes from
the EV6 (21264).  Now, AMD has promised server versions of the Athlon and
hinted that they might need a different slot connector.  This would fit with
a wider data bus.  Not, the 21264 cannot plug into the 'slot A' connector
without losing half of it's data bus width.  Isn't there a 21264PC or some
such?  I believe those were half width data bus types of chips.  One of them
might work in a slot A.  Keep in mind, that the Athlon bus as it is in slot
A is already a match for current generation SDRAM.  Of course, DDR-SDRAM
will be out soon as will higher clock rate SDRAM.  They could always
block/interleave the memory, too.
