Its 20MB HD is so slow, the maximum transfer rate is 72 KB/s (yes, 72 and
yes KB/s), which means it would take almost 2 minutes to write an 8 MB file
to disk. :-)
uuh... It's getting very OT now... back to Mersenne stuff:
I have a question regarding the primenet server: Is it possible to 'force'
the server to assign a specific free(!) exponent to me? I added some free
exponents for factoring to the worktodo file and did a manual communication
with the server afterwards and I got the error message, that the exponents
aren't assigned to me... any idea?
