It is an Athlon machine and Solaris 8 is supposed to be able to run all
Linux apps out-of-the box.
I'm just curious to find out if anyone has tried mprime on solaris 8.

Yes I like Linux too. That is what I run at home.
I'm just curious to try solaris 8 as it is FREE as long as you have 8 cpu's
or less...I have less than 8 cpu's in my machine :)
