I would like to thank Lars for this important piece to my problem. I also
set "Start at Bootup" on Windows 2000 Server and every user starts it when
they log on.

I noticed a bad thing in WinXP regarding prime95.
When you run prime95 as a user and mark "start at bootup" you get a quite
peculiar situation.
When I login prime95 starts as it should.
Then if I log in as another user at the same time prime95 starts again in
the new user, thus having two instances working on the same number and using
the same files.
