I'm sorry for not providing any clue what that version about and who is responsible for it.
I've written a short readme.os2 that is going to be included (together with linux version docs) into primeos2.zip

================

PRIMEOS2.EXE version 22.12

This is the OS/2 version of the Mersenne prime program by George Woltman.
PRIMEOS2.EXE is essentially built from the Linux version 22.12,
and has the same functionality. For more information see the readme.txt and whatsnew.txt files of the Linux version included in this archive.

Requirements:
OS/2 Warp 3 or higher,
TCP/IP stack version 4.1 or higher.

Known problems and workarounds:

P: The program doesn't start due to lack of TCPIP32.DLL
W: You need to update your TCP/IP stack to version >=4.1
TCP/IP stack comes with MPTS, so you need to update MPTS.
You can install MPTS fixpak WR08620:
ftp://service.boulder.ibm.com/ps/products/mpts/fixes/english-us/wr08620
or even a newer WR08621 one:
ftp://service.boulder.ibm.com/ps/products/mpts/fixes/english-us/wr08621
Or if you have WSeB/eCS/MCP/MCP2/ACP/ACP2, you can install MPTS from there. Likely, version of MPTS doesn't depend on OS/2 base system version. Say, I myself installed MPTS taken from ACP2 on Warp3 without any problems.

P: There is a long delay right after the program start.
W: Don't worry, the program evaluates your CPU.

Compilation from the sources:

Compilation PRIMEOS2.EXE is done by OpenWatcom 11c and gnumake.
Simply run 'gnumake -f makefile.wat'
