Let me guess - you have MSVC 6 and you're banging on Mesa 3.0, right?
This error occurs because MS changed the _NMAKE_VER macro format that nmake.exe
defines.
I'll ship you the required file changed for Mesa 3, and binaries for mesa 3,
privately.
