I've been trying to install Mesa 3.0, later 3.1 on my Linux system, but the graphic in games like Tux Penguin -aqfh or glTron is rather slow (appr. 2 fps). So I tried to compile Mesa 3.1 with the "Mesa libs"- and the "Mesa demos". A "parse error" always occurs in the file "/X/fakeglx.c", using "/FX/fxdrv.h" & "FX/fxglidew.h" in some lines. This results in the error message that ANSI C doesn't support functions without return value or sth. alike. (And YES, gcc *is* a C++ compiler!) My system is: intel in$ide PII 375 MHz (ex- 333) 64 MB RAM Elsa Voodoo II AGP graphics card (1. partition Win95) linux partition, enough space (appr. 340 MB), kernel 2.2.3, X-Window system properly installed, KDM glide installed (properly? no way to check out) please write back soon, leones P.S. #334: If you can't catch the dinosaur with acoustic messages, use a big big stone. P.P.S. ELSA doesn't have any linux drivers for their graphic boards. ** _______________________________________________ Mesa-bug maillist - [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://lists.mesa3d.org/mailman/listinfo/mesa-bug _______________________________________________ Mesa-dev maillist - [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://lists.mesa3d.org/mailman/listinfo/mesa-dev
