I was re-reading GLSL 1.10 spec about #version directive. #version follows the same convention as __VERSION__ For __VERSION___, spec says "will substitute a decimal integer reflecting the version number of the OpenGL shading language" So no clear if we should always read as decimal, or keep current behaviour.
