This has a number of advantages, but the two big ones are: - Depending on what they learn, the app might just use software rendering because the implementation is black listed. - Depending on what they learn, the app might create a different kind of context (core profile vs. compatibility profile vs. ES profile). This implementation should be complete. The enums /may/ change (and it just occured to me that I didn't fix the commit message in patch 10), but I think they should be fine.
