Thomas - I think I'd be happier to stick to as few branches as possible
for the mean time - one stable and one development should be plenty for
a project this size. Would you consider putting your stuff on the
experimental branch?

Btw. I tried your last patch (not what's in cvs, but after your last
mail to the group). It seemed to do everything correctly but didn't
find 'glide.h', and so didn't compile in the FX driver. I have it it
'/usr/include/glide/glide.h' - maybe this is a non-standard place for it
to be?
