I will probably do the port. I'm at SIGGRAPH right now (typing on my
laptop from the GEL stand). The DRI folks have been making good
progress and I will be trying to hook up with their kernel guy in the
next day or two.

Source will be available real soon. The part I am responsible for,
QDRaw is ready to release but the GEL code on top needs a bit of
finalising - the GEL guys were hacking until the last minute.

They have DRI running on Voodoo3 now. It runs q3test at 40fps which
looks pretty cool.
