Hi everyone,
I would like to offer my anonymous ftp site, website and cvs to the
mesa3d project ..
It's only a 25Mhz sparc, with about 120Megs of free space, but it should
work ..
I've been trying to get to the Mesa CVS and it tells me "access
rejected", assuming it's still down
or not restored from backups etc. so i would like to offer this as a
temporary solution (or longer if you want :-)
why would I do this? well for nothing other than my own personal gain
:-) I want (just read) access to the
Mesa CVS sources (experimental etc.) and what better way than have other
people upload it
to my system?
Second, I've been playing with cvs server, which is setup on my system,
but I have no idea
how to *properly* add anonymous and developer users and how to add
projects and have it all
be reasonably secure, what better way to learn than to have other people
come in and set it
up for me, all I need to do is watch :-)
Benefits for you:
- your own CVS (with admin rights) so you can resolve deadlocks yourself
- temporary cvs is restored until the main site comes back up.
- I think i have a pretty good connection to the net.
also check out: http://saraber.dhs.org/mrtg/load.html for the current
cpu load
and http://saraber.dhs.org/mrtg/eth.html for the current internet
interface load
ps. I'm trying to get S3 to give me the register specs for the Savage4
card, I'm planning on
writing a "glue" .so that has to be (unfortunately) closed source to
interface with the video card,
and a Mesa driver that interfaces with the "glue" library. (just like
the 3dfx setup with their glide library)
Regards,
