CVS seems to be working again.  Yeah!

I suggest that you make a clean, empty directory in which to
start working in so that you don't accidently overwrite something
needed from you old local tree.

Also note that the CVS file tree has been rooted under a new
top-level Mesa/ directory.  This is a bit cleaner.  Glean,
for example, could be put into the Mesa CVS archive under it's
own top-level directory.

If I can restore old CVS files I'll put them into a parallel
Mesa-old/ directory.  I don't think I'll have much time for that,
unfortunately.  I'm going to be travelling quite a bit over the
next few weeks and won't be online a lot.
