The fact that it worked for you is useful information. I need to look into
this more. Maybe a win32 thing...
FWIW I saw the same issues with a debug build and through my own SW renderer
that used the Mesa triangle functions (i.e. just handled span rendering).
The same rendering harness works fine with the public 3.1 code.
