I have found a bug with texturing using mip-maps. I have a demo
program at my homepage: http://home.c2i.net/thorha


Use space to toggle between GL_LINEAR_MIPMAP_LINEAR 
and GL_LINEAR for GL_TEXTURE_MIN_FILTER. Linear filtering
works as it should. This bug is only present when using the FX 
driver, X11 works ok.

For me it looks like the last 1x1 mipmap is black.
