Almost a +1 for me. I tried make, make check, and make hadoop on Mac OS X, I tried launching a cluster, and I tried running some sample frameworks, but the one issue I noticed is that the web UI has a non-functioning link to logs when no log directory is set. These lead to a "file not found" error page. We should replace the web UI links with something that says "you have not enabled logging for this Mesos installation -- configure the log_dir variable".
