Before we get too deep into voting, should we use ranked voting? I haven't used it before, but it sounds like a good suggestion. OpenOffice used this for their OO 4.0 logo selection [1]. Votes were scored using the Instant Run-Off Voting Procedure [2].
If others agree, we would rank preferences based upon our first, second, and third choices -- first choice being what you prefer the most. Sound good?
