FWIW it should be noted that OpenKeychain depends heavily on the Android sharing/intents architecture, which doesn’t quite have an exact analogue on many other platforms. Having said that, it’s getting *very* close to being easily civilian-usable.
The big problem currently is that to sign/decrypt, you have to enter your key passphrase, which is not really very practical on mobile.
