This set of patches introduces support for the SolidRun CuBox-i series as well as the HummingBoard devices. They use solo, dual, and quad versions of the i.MX6. Efforts have been made to make machine detection in both u-boot (through the SPL) and the kernel automated at run-time, so only one machine config is needed for all devices.
These patches use a forked U-Boot with added MXC SPL support. I am aware that mainline is preferred, but I am sending these patches as they are now, because (1) they were tested with the HummingBoard and the CuBox-i, (2) I would like to read your opinions about the patches, especially the new bbclass (introduced because U-Boot produces two binaries for SPL support, and not just one u-boot.imx binary).
