Hi Bob, As you know, LSDK (Layerscape SDK) replaced the QSDK (QorIQ PPC, ARM SDK) in last June. In 17.06, 17.09 and 19.09-update releases, ARM targets are integrated continuously, PPC was not supported, to align with the scope of LSDK, we removed the PPC machines from Yocto. In recent LSDK 17.12 release, the PPC support was integrated, accordingly we add back the PPC machines in Yocto.
