+1 I also would like to see sumo branched now without i.MX8 rather than in next month with i.MX8 support. Support for running OpenGL apps on Weston for i.MX6/Etnaviv requires weston >= 3.0 and mesa >= 17.2 [1]. That is available on sumo but not on rocko.
