First of all, this looks like a patch for dylan - if so, please mention that in the subject and request. Also, we can't just remove recipes like this from already-released branches like dylan - that would be breaking things for users of the dylan release. Finally, please provide detailed explanation in the commit message at least as to why this change should be made. It seems to be taking away some pretty useful functionality that people with QAT-capable hardware are probably using and I don't see a replacement in the patch...
