Current intel-common is having 2 single binary for x86 architecture (32-bit & 64-bit). However, to boot up the platform, there is still this text change that needs to be manually change such tty0 or tty1 and etc. This will complicate the usage by end-customer and require also customer document update down-stream. So, we are looking forward to the feature on making selectable menu at boot-loader level to select the correct platforms in YP1.7. By then, when the technology is more mature, we will converge all BPS into 2 above. I hope that I answer why the case above. -- _______________________________________________ meta-intel mailing list [email protected] https://lists.yoctoproject.org/listinfo/meta-intel
