It seems as though adding:

        PACKAGECONFIG_pn-gstreamer1.0-plugins-bad = "opengl"

to local.conf fixes the issue. But my distro does contain opengl as part of
its DISTRO_FEATURES. So I'm not entirely sure why this configuration option
wouldn't turn itself on by default :-(
