Hi, Not exactly Yocto related, but was wondering if anyone have (new) ideas here.
I have HW that has Congate TCA-3 board with Atom E3826 processor running Linux and there is need to relay information from Linux to bootloader for next warm boot. I only need few bytes. This information is used to determine if to boot secondary system on device or if to execute factory reset etc. Any idea where/how to store the information so it'd be (somewhat) easily accessible in bootloader(grub)? Congatec has their own CGOS system, but it's way too big for this job and doesn't work outside Linux. I'm not entirely sure if writing to RAM is good idea ie. can it lose it content on reboot? Of course generic approach would be nice, but Atom E3826 specific is also fine atm. -TeemuK -- _______________________________________________ meta-intel mailing list meta-intel@yoctoproject.org https://lists.yoctoproject.org/listinfo/meta-intel
