However, you are welcome to prepare a pull request that fetches the 
upstream patches instead of using our local ones.

By the way, with so many great improvements in the pipeline (e.g. I got the 
pcl library almost running), we can make a next release with serious 
improvements within a few weeks (e.g. in 6 to 8 weeks).
