Nevermind on BeagleBoard-DeviceTree. I just compared the kernel and BeagleBoard-DeviceTree; they are at parity. BeagleBoard-DeviceTree is not needed. The thing that was throwing me off what the older kernel/dt.
I'll submit a patch for rolling the kernel forward.
