GDB is only supported (and I use that term lightly) for 64-bit microblaze for baremetal applications. The problem is that baremetal debugging is something I don't have any way to do. So I rely on others to tell me when things do or don't work. (64-bit microblaze is also used a lot less then 32-bit microblaze, so it gets exercised a lot less at this stage of development.) > I'am little suprised. It should have been working in 2020.2, and I thought it was working in gatesgarth. > I Was building the the meta-toolchain for DISTRO="xilinx-standalone" > MACHINE="microblaze-tc" with "gatesgarth" branch, because the Windows > toolchain in Vivado/Vitis 2020.2 has a bug in the code generation. The gatesgarth stuff hasn't been fully validated yet, so some bugs (especially around GDB support) don't surprise me. Unfortunately I don't have any way to actually verify GDB on microblaze (Linux or Baremetal) at this time, but I'll see what I can do to fix this. If you have a suggested fix let me know and I'll work to get it applied. Thanks, --Mark > Best Regards, > Christoph Seitz > > > > > >
