Hi Emily, PYNQ https://github.com/Xilinx/PYNQ/blob/image_v2.5.1/setup.py can only support few boards. In meta-Xilinx we have enabled PYNQ to work for ZCU104 & Ultra96 based on the available PYNQ examples. To support additional boards the PYNQ source must be compatible with the board first.

It seems these are only setup now for the PYNQ supported board (ie, here in the code<https://github.com/Xilinx/meta-xilinx/blob/master/meta-xilinx-pynq/classes/xilinx-pynq.bbclass#L18>). Is there a way to generalize this to other setups? I tried the obvious option of adding BOARD_NAME_zcu102-zynqmp = "ZCU102" but this didn't seem to work, as I then get an error on the board when trying to reference pynq in the OS. Are there additional things I need to change? Is it possible to do this with a yocto workflow? Thanks! Emily Smith
