See the list archives, but I've put a link to the most recent response to this question.

In short, Kirkstone doesn't align with our 2022.1 release -- Honister did. We are currently working on moving forward to Yocto Project master. This may or may not work with Kirkstone, but at this time I have no plans to spend effort on Kirkstone.

No matter which branch, you should be working with an OSV or ISV -- or merge it yourself. If you want to support a branch that doesn't align with our recent release (that includes master) submit patches.

Hi,

Any news about Kirkstone release support ?
I have tried some times ago with 8d443a2b521a273d4aac997b0b6f1928c7f2c488. But the commit doesn't exist anymore.

I have searched for some infos but this release isn't supported yet.

From meta-xilin repo, master branch is based on Honister, master-next is based on Langdale.

As Kirkstone should be a LTS I'm not sure to understand why meta-xilinx doesn't have a dedicated  Kirkstone branch ?

Thanks for reading this mail :)
