We're not regularly updating meta-petalinux or other branches at this time.
Only meta-xilinx and meta-xilinx-tools are updated against master.
meta-openamp upstream hasn't yet been updated for scarthgap either. I'm working
on that, but it's as part of that project.

Is the master branch not ready for building for now?
