Additionally I have created the scarthgap branch, scarthgap (5.0) is expected
soon.
The only change that might affect someone, integration of the OpenAmp and
Libmetal components for 2023.1 and 2023.2 versions has been moved to
meta-openamp. (It was simply an implementation move, no change in behavior is
expected.)
A lot of effort has been put into place to allow changing the
XILINX_RELEASE_VERSION value should adjust all of the related components to
compatible versions. The default is 2023.2, but currently 2022.1, 2022.2,
2023.1 and 2023.2 are implemented.
I'm tentatively expecting that I'll roll-off older versions of the related
components as new releases come out. Right now that last 4 are available, but
this may be more then I can maintain.
There is a good chance that 2022.1 & 2022.2 will be removed soon, maybe even
2023.1. I'm trying to judge how many people are using older versions to
understand how much maintenance on older versions to plan for.

Note, with runqemu the QEMU v7.1.0 works. However if you try to use the ptests
with a QEMU session it does not currently work due to a qmp issue. A new
QEMU-Xilinx 8.2 version should be released soon. When it's available we will
move to this version and work to get the ptest integration working.
