Yes, but that is still at least 6 months away. This solution is here
now, works, and is quite simple and easy enough to maintain. I really
don't understand your negativity of this patch, are you expecting we
wait until Xilinx actually solves the problem? or do you dislike this
patch just because it simply doesn't implement it in the way Xilinx
wants?
Here now and works is not a sufficient criteria unfortunately.
Fundamentally, we cannot rely on the internal operational details of a
closed and proprietary tool.
And, no we're not expecting anyone to wait until Xilinx solves the
problem - anyone is free to do so and we'd happily take patches as long
as the approach does not rely on tool internals, but on the tool itself.
