I think there is a Xilinx Wiki article about running a full Ubuntu desktop. You
can find it by searching here http://www.wiki.xilinx.com/. Yes you can build 64
bit Linux for US+ MPSoC for Yocto as you have concluded and you can add Docker
using meta-virtualization layer but it’s far from optimal.

Subject: [meta-xilinx] Ubuntu on Zynq Ultrascale

Hi,

is there anybody who knows where can I found an Ubuntu 64 bit image for Zynq
Ultrascale MPSoC?

Otherwise, does anybody knows if is there any possibility to build a 64 bit
Linux image using Yocto? (I think that the answer for this question is yes,
because I have built an image using Yocto for Zynq Ultrascale, which uses 64
bit architecture)

And does Yocto has enough support (recipes) to add docker to the image that is
needed to be built?

Thanks,
Pello
