Hi there,

starting with version 2.3, MC is using Quicktime to play sounds and videos
on Mac AND Win.

Unfortunately, because of that fact, the playloudness does't work anymore on
WIN (Mac works).

I am SURE, this is on top of the todo-list at the MC corp.
Isn't it, Scott?

A multimedia-authoringtool with NO possibility to change the volume
is worthless for multimedia-demands. Sad, but true.
(Fading sound in and out etc...is really more elegant than stopping a sound
suddenly)

Funny thing: on my mac, there is a very short fadeout when changing from
browse to edit-mode while a player is ehm... playing.

One might say: this has never been requested by the users nor has somebody
put this on the feature-request-list.

Then this could be the right answer:

How can one request a (new?) feature, if one DOESN'T EXPECT this feature
to be not workingin the new version anymore?

So please, please release a workaround (as ugly it might be :)
very, very soon.

No need for separate volume-control for each player object. (so far... ;-)

I DON'T WANT TO USE DIRECTOR ANYMORE...
(A faint desperate cry from germany...)

Regards

Klaus Major
