I wholeheartedly agree with this.  I've always been a strong proponent of 
a dedicated layout environment without runtime capabilities vs a runtime 
environment with limited layout capabilties.  Understandably, it makes 
sense for MC to do it all in a single environment for cross-platform 
reasons, but it sure would be helpful to be able to concentrate on the 
visual development of stack without unwanted object scripts triggering by 
mistake.  In some instances, I even wind up in the middle of an editor 
script error, without knowing what action caused this to occur.
