Well, it seems I have another problem. Luckily this fantastic mailing
list is here! Anyway, here's the problem: I want to have music playing
in the background in my stack and at the same time I have to be able to
play at least one sound effect. Now I have come close to this on the
Mac. I have been able to play a Midi in Quicktime format by using the
play videoclip command and I have been able to play a sound effect at
the same time. Of course then I run into problems. One sound effect is
fine, but if you play another sound effect later (still only one sound
at a time) while the music is playing the music cuts out. What I need
is a way to play music in the background on both the PC and the Mac and
still have the ability to at least play one sound. I know MetaCard
doesn't have sound channels, but I was able to have a midi playing and
then a sound effects...well almost. Also, I would preferably like to be
able to use midi's. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
