I noticed something interesting about sprite movies under 2.3 (a4 and
a5): when you select the arrow tool, the sprites stop doing whatever
they're doing. But if you grab the player and resize it, move it, etc.,
the sprites will take a step each time you change the movie. This means
that as you drag it, the movie advances in stutter steps, once for each
visual update. This isn't bad in itself, but it does mean that the player
is more difficult to position, because it jumps badly as you move it. On
my G3 400, this is somewhat noticeable, but tolerable. I'd bet on a
slower machine, it would quickly get annoying.

Also, opening a stack from 2.3a4, with a player with a sprite movie in
it, in 2.3a5, is bad news when you try to close that stack. It hung my
Mac twice before I gave up on it.

On the positive side, I've tried several more movies, and so far the
results have been great!
