In my program I give the user the option of setting and saving the backDrop
color in a Preferences file. Thus, they can set the backDrop color and the
next time they start the program it will reset to that color automatically.
I read the preferences file into a global from the openStack handler. I put
the script for reading the global and setting the color into the openCard
script for the first card.
I open MetaCard and then open my program from the MC menu panel. The program
starts, the backdrop color is set, and my program opens *behind* the
backdrop. The only way I can see it is to "topLevel myProgram" using the
message box. However, if I then close my program and reopen it in the same
manner without closing and reopening Metacard also, the first card appears
and the backdrop color is set behind the card and everything works as
desired. I have not tried this with a standalone yet. I'm running 2.2.5.
Has anyone else seen this behavior?
