The External Collection 1.0 which can now be found at Cross Worlds web
site<www.xworlds.com> consists of two externals for MetaCard, one for the
MacOS, and one for Windows. These externals provide a number of different
commands and functions on the two platforms.
The version currently posted here is the final public beta test of these
two utilities. Please report any bugs you find.
The final version of the Externals Collection will sell for $49.95. That
price covers both the MacOS and Windows versions of the external, and
includes any updates that should become available within a year of
purchase. The license fee allows you to use the external royalty free in
any applications your produce.
The demo version of the External Collection (which consists of both the
MacOS and Windows versions) can be downloaded by clicking here. The demo
is fully functional, but brings up a dialog to remind you to pay at
random when you use it. Full instructions and examples are provided.
In keeping with the MetaCard philosophy everything which can work cross
platform usually does work in both the Mac and Windows externals, and
some of those which work on Windows can now be done via AppleScript.
