Ok, but I found this in the MC-manual:
For data interchange with other applications, MetaCard can store and
retrieve plain text from the system clipboard.
But it doesn�t work correctly. MC must hav somthing of an own clipboard
because the contents of the windows-clipboard and the MC-clipboard are
sometimes different!!!!

For my purpose it would be far sufficient to get the "comming to the front
message" and then to check the clipboard.

any further idea???
