Dear Everyone,

This site is for real. Please pass it on to as many people as you can. It's
something really easy that can make a difference.

Visit the site and pass the word. http://www.thehungersite.com

All you do is click and somewhere in the world some hungry person gets a
meal to eat at no cost to you. The food is paid for by corporate sponsors.
All you do is go to the site and click where they indicate. But, you're
only allowed one click per day so spread the word to others.

Press Reviews:

September 17, 1999 . Sydney Morning Herald (Australia)
The Net has pushed back many boundaries, including that of human
compassion. A web site that allows anyone to donate food to the starving
without paying? It sounds too good to be true, but a new US venture, The
Hunger Site, has achieved exactly that, channelling the cold, financial
logic of online advertising to the warmer, social purposes of charity...
Hunger Site users are met by a map of the world. Every 3.6 seconds, a
country somewhere flashes black, signifying a death due to hunger. India
... China ... Mozambique ... country after country dims in memoriam

Family Circle Magazine (USA, 10/5/99 Issue)
Have you ever wanted tohelp those less fortunate but not known where to
start? Right now, all you need is a computer connected to the Internet to
start helping to save lives. The Hunger Site was founded earlier this year
by John Breen to aid in the fight to end hunger. The site generates
donations to the United Nations World Food Program, the world's largest
food aid organization, working in 80 countries. Here's how it works: Anyone
can go to the site once a day and make a free donation...

New Statesman (United Kingdom)
... watch the hunger map, which shows a globe on which a country goes
briefly dark every 3.6 seconds: it happens every time a person somewhere
dies of malnutrition. It?s like watching Death on his tireless rounds, from
India to China, then Indonesia, before hurrying across to Africa and South
America. . . . a company that advertises there [on the Hunger Site] is
actually getting quite good value for its advertising budget by feeding the
starving.
