To edit a group without going into edit group mode, set the
selectGroupedControls to true. This is very useful, and I find myself
setting this global constantly. So much so, that you may want to create a
palette with a button on it that sets the selectGroupedControls back and
forth.

Command Option clicking an object edits its script.
Shift arrow key moves objects in 10 pixel increments.
Arrow keys on_their_own will flip back and forth between cards as long as
nothing has the focus and navigationArrows is set to true.
Right clicking (or control clicking on the Mac) with the pointer tool on
objects offers a way of editing properties, script etc with the bonus that
you can't accidentally move the object.
