This kind of problem is very rare, MetaCard usually displays the same images
on any platform without a problem.  The only exception is PICT images, which
only display on the Mac and can't be taken cross-platform, but you're not
using those.  Different graphic editors with different settings do tend to
produce slightly different images, and very occasionally you may end up with
an image that can be displayed in the original editor, but not reliabliy or
not at all in other applications (including MetaCard).  If you have an image
that reliably shows a problem, please send it to your support email address.
My guess is that if you save the image again in another application and
reimport it as you did, you'll be unlikely to see this problem again.
