I have a metacard stack that I converted from hypercard. Now suddenly, the
find function doesn't work, nor does the Messge box.
I have the Home card (with the juggler on it) and my former hyper card
stack open. When I press ctrl F, the find box doesn't appear, nor does the
message box appear when I press ctrl M. When I bring these windows up from
the tool bar and type a search criterion in them (e.g. find "do0xxx" in
field 2) it returns "not found". I know what I'm searching for is in the stack.
Any idea what's going wrong? I was getting many script errors when I first
converted the files, and have deleted most of them from the stack. I don't
understand why that seems to disable even basic metacard functionality.
Any input greatly appreciated.
