Barry,

We have been using TBK for several years now, and MetaCard for almost a 
year.
I agree with what has been said previously by people on this list 
regarding the subject.
Just one thing to add: by gaining a PC/Mac/Unix dev system (Metacard), it 
seems that you loose the ability in Instructor to use ActiveX (which are 
Win specifics), and to easily add third party stuff to your projects when 
needed (like voice recognition activeX from Dragon or IBL.., or A web 
browser, a flash player, a PDF player...).

I want also to emphasis: 1) the responsiveness of the MC people  2) the 
speed of MC (I compare also with SuperCard, slower), 3) the joy of having 
just one EXE file, and not all the runtime files need with TBK (+ version 
conflicts)...

If you monitor the TBK and the MC list, you will see that on the TBK 
list, people report a LOT of technical problems (and I've been one of 
them), and on the MC list, subjects are more toward "porgramming" 
stuff... IMHO
