CGI's starting from a Mac

Hi, I'm running Metacard on a Mac, and I was wondering how to convert,  into a CGI
application, a stack with all its components already imported.
The #!mc command is just for Unix correct?
I need a stack to be accessible to a browser so I can place it on a website.  I tried 
to look
at the examples on the website, but I couldn't get them to run either.
